June Real Estate Report for Grover Beach
Closed sales in Grover Beach for June showed a dramatic turnaround from previous months. Sales for June were up an amazing 15%!
Projections for July are equally as good if not even better with June pending sales coming in at 22% up.
These numbers compare quite favorably with the full San Luis Obispo county results. For June SLO county closed sales were off 17% and pending sales were off 8%. Grover Beach is looking quite good at the moment!
New listings, though, were down 23% for the month... which is really good news for sellers. Low inventory and increasing buyer demand mostly due to historically low interest rates have pushed price per square foot up 11%. If you are thinking of selling... July or August would be a great month to list. You'd stand a very good chance of maximizing your return on the investment in your property.
San Luis Obispo, again, is a good comparison. Closed sales off 17%, pendings off 8% and new listings off 22%. New listings being down and price per square foot trending up for the county indicates it is a good time to list anywhere in the county.
